Scholarship Eligibility 

Requirements:

​

• Applicant must be a high school senior graduating from the USD 500 Kansas City Kansas Public School District. - Sumner Academy, J.C. Harmon, F.L. Schlagle, Washington, or Wyandotte High School

​

• Applicant must be applying to or accepted to an accredited vocational school, community college, or a 4-year college or university.

​

• Applicant must submit 1 - SIGNED letter of recommendation from a non-family member. (Example: teacher, coach, guidance counselor, or clergy).

​

• Applicant must submit their college acceptance letter(s).

​

• Applicant must answer the essay question. (Essay should be free of grammatical and punctuation errors.)

​

• The winner will be chosen based on their academic achievements, ability to showcase their leadership skills, and involvement with their community and within their school.
