The Curtisha Anderson Scholarship Foundation
Creating opportunity & transforming lives ... One scholarship at a time!
In 2017, Curtisha received a life-saving kidney transplant. Out of an abundance of appreciation and gratitude for her "gift of life", Curtisha wanted to do something to give back to those in her community. In 2022, she founded the nonprofit scholarship foundation to assist high school students in the Kansas City, Kansas Public School District who are seeking financial assistance to attend a four-year or community college. The first scholarships were issued to the class of 2023.
